HAF Tuesday

About this Project

Project HAF is an innovative centre-based initiative by Youth Matters Kirklees CIC that takes place every Tuesday. The project is designed to empower young people by offering a range of targeted support and skill development activities within a safe and welcoming environment. With regular engagement, participants are provided with invaluable opportunities to build confidence, enhance their practical skills, and prepare for the challenges of tomorrow.

Tailored Learning and Growth lie at the heart of HAF, where each session is carefully crafted to meet the diverse needs of the young community. The programme skilfully blends creative workshops, interactive sessions, and mentoring opportunities that encourage personal development. By focusing on recognised methods of targeted support, the provision creates a space where youths can explore and enhance their abilities in a structured yet flexible setting.

Community Engagement and Impact is a cornerstone of the HAF project. The recurring nature of this Tuesday programme ensures that young people not only gain essential life skills but also participate in the strengthening of local community bonds. Continuous access to such targeted support helps foster a sense of belonging and responsibility, enabling participants to become active contributors to their own growth and the wider community.
